By entering your team into the Oswaldtwistle St Mary’s FC 2026 Under 8, Under 9 and Under 10 Football Tournament, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
1. Participation & Responsibility
- You confirm that your players are fit, healthy, and able to participate in grassroots football activities.
- You understand that football is a physical sport and carries a risk of accidental injury.
- You agree that your player’s takes part at their own risk and that appropriate supervision will be provided by their team officials.
2. Medical Consent
- In the event of injury or medical emergency, you consent to first aid being administered by qualified personnel.
- If necessary, you authorise the tournament organisers to seek further medical assistance on your player’s behalf.
3. Safeguarding & Conduct
- Oswaldtwistle St Mary’s FC follows FA safeguarding policies and expects all players, coaches, parents, and spectators to uphold respectful behaviour at all times.
- Any abusive, threatening, or inappropriate conduct may result in removal from the venue.
4. Photography & Media
- You acknowledge that general photography and video may be taken during the event for club and community promotional use.
- If you do not consent to your team or a player being included in such media, you must inform the tournament organisers before the event begins.
5. Liability
- While every reasonable measure will be taken to ensure a safe environment, Oswaldtwistle St Mary’s FC, its volunteers, and The Heys Complex Sponsored by Stortec Engineering Ltd accept no responsibility for:
- personal injury arising from normal participation in football
- loss or damage to personal belongings
- weather‑related disruption or changes to the event schedule
6. Club & Venue Rules
- All attendees must follow the instructions of tournament officials, marshals, and venue staff.
- Parking, access routes, and restricted areas must be respected at all times.
- Failure to comply may result in removal from the tournament grounds.
