It didn’t get off to the best start as we conceded a very quick goal, but the boys suddenly realised they were in a game and had to work really hard together as a team.

That goal fired them up, and we started creating chance after chance, making their defence work incredibly hard. Their goalkeeper was having a fantastic game, making some great saves to keep them ahead going into half-time.

The second half continued with us controlling the play and playing some really clever football, turning their defence inside out. The opposition managed to capitalise on an attack and scored another goal, but the boys didn’t let this get to them.

They responded with everything they had, producing some superb football and scoring two brilliant goals to bring the game back level! 🔥⚽️

We then continued to press and pressure, forcing them to defend with everything they had. We even had a goal disallowed! 😩

A fantastic team performance from the boys last weekend. We were so unlucky not to score a lot more goals, but that’s all part of the learning process. The effort, teamwork and football on display today were fantastic. 👏💙
