Freddie took the armband as captain for the day, smashed it, and walked off with MOM after putting in a shift on a pitch that looked more like a swimming pool than a football field. The rain lashed, the wind howled, and Freddie just kept stepping up — tackles, leadership, energy, the lot.

The whole squad battled through a proper Lancashire morning and showed exactly what St Mary’s football is all about: grit, smiles, teamwork, and refusing to let the weather win.
