Not the result we wanted this weekend, falling to a 6-1 defeat, but what a performance from these girls! 👏🔥

With no substitutes available, it was always going to be a tough afternoon, yet every single player gave absolutely everything from the first whistle to the last. In the end, it came down to energy levels, but the determination, effort and attitude shown by the team never dropped for a second. 💪⚽

There were some fantastic passages of football throughout the game and the girls can be incredibly proud of how they competed. Our goal came courtesy of Elsie, who unleashed an absolute rocket from long range! 🚀⚽ We also kept their goalkeeper busy, forcing her into 3 or 4 excellent saves.

A special mention goes to Darcie, who pulled off some brilliant saves and continues to show huge improvement in her distribution, something she has been working so hard on in training. 👏🧤
