What a shift from the girls last weekend. The first half was a real test against a side that’s been playing together for years, but the reaction after half‑time was something to be proud of. A quick chat, a couple of position changes, and bringing on our two new players completely lifted the performance.

The second half was full of early pressing, positive forward play, and a couple of great efforts on goal. The improvement was massive and clear for everyone watching.

Chloe was outstanding between the sticks, pulling off some unbelievable saves and earning herself the Opposition Player of the Match. She kept us in it time and time again.

Our two new girls were brilliant too — and Leah… what a debut. She read the game superbly, intercepted everything, worked tirelessly all over the pitch, and always looked to play positively. A fully deserved Player of the Match performance.

The whole team battled right to the final whistle, showing resilience, teamwork, and real progress from last week. The development is there for all to see, and we’re only going to keep building.
