Our newest team… and what a debut!

Well, what can we say. After 4 months together, we finally stepped out for our very first match — and I’m smiling from ear to ear.  

We genuinely can’t put into words how proud we are of every single one of our girls. Horrible conditions, no subs, and not once did it phase them.

The energy, determination, and teamwork were there for everyone to see.  
 Six girls had never played a full match before, and two had never played 9v9 — you honestly wouldn’t have known.  

The first half was all about finding their feet.  
 The second half… confidence grew, competitiveness kicked in, and they showed exactly what they’re capable of.

This is all part of the journey, and I’ve no doubt they’re going to go from strength to strength now.

⭐ Opposition Player of the Match: Ella  
 Strong at the back, led by example, read the game superbly, and made some crucial interceptions.

⭐ Coaches’ Player of the Match: Rosie  
 Covered every blade of grass, defended brilliantly, and drove us forward time and time again.

So proud of you all.
