The girls were back in action last weekend in a thrilling end‑to‑end game that deserved so much more than the final scoreline.  

After falling behind early, they showed real fight to get back into it:  
 - ✨ Alicia with a superb solo run, weaving past defenders before calmly smashing home to level it.  
 - 🎯 Mia stepped up from the spot after her brilliant corner led to a handball, firing in off the post to give us the lead.  
 - 💥 Poppie thought she’d added another with a thunderbolt from the edge of the box, only for it to be ruled offside.  

The second half brought more drama:  
 - 🚀 Lissy broke through to make it 3–2.  
 - Clitheroe hit back with a free‑kick before edging ahead, but Alicia wasn’t done—winning another penalty and smashing home to complete her hat trick.  

At 4–4 the girls were right in it, but a flurry of late goals saw the game finish 7–4 to Clitheroe.  

Despite the score, the girls showed incredible character, playing out of their skins and proving they deserved more. 💪💖
