🛡️ 𝗢𝘀𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗱𝘁𝘄𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘆’𝘀 𝗙𝗖 – 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲
𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗹𝗹. 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝗿.

As part of our ongoing commitment to safeguarding every player, coach, and visitor at Oswaldtwistle St Mary’s FC, we’re introducing the following mandatory equipment standards across all age groups and squads:

⚠️ 𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗜𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆:

- 𝗡𝗼 𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗱𝘀 
  Shin pads must offer full coverage and adequate protection. Undersized gear increases injury risk and will not be permitted during training or matches.

- 𝗡𝗼 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝘀  
  Only moulded or rubber studs are allowed. Metal studs pose a serious hazard on grass and turf, and compromise the safety of others.

💬 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀: 
We believe grassroots football should be safe, welcoming, and enjoyable for everyone. These updates are designed to reduce preventable injuries and uphold the highest standards of care across our club.

Please check players’ equipment before arrival. Referees and team leads will conduct spot checks to ensure compliance.
